Task Pro Privacy Policy
Task Pro is a business task-accountability application for organizations. It helps business owners assign work to staff, lets staff submit completion updates with photo proof, and helps owners review, approve, and maintain task history.
Information We Collect
Task Pro may collect and store the following information:
- Name and email address.
- Authentication and account data.
- Organization membership and role, such as owner or staff.
- Task titles, descriptions, notes, status, and deadlines.
- Task photos, including assignment, submission, and correction photos.
- Push notification tokens used to send task alerts.
- Basic app activity and usage metadata, such as last app activity time and core workflow events.
- Limited technical diagnostics when errors or crashes occur, such as crash or error information, stack traces, app version, operating system version, device model or type, runtime information, timestamps, and similar diagnostic metadata.
Firebase Services
Task Pro uses Firebase services to operate the app, including:
- Firebase Authentication for sign-in and account access.
- Cloud Firestore for organization, user, task, and history records.
- Firebase Storage for task-related photos.
- Cloud Functions for server-side task and account operations.
- Firebase, Google Cloud, and Expo services for task alerts and reminders.
How Information Is Used
Task Pro uses information to operate the service, assign and complete tasks, send notifications, maintain task and approval history, support organization accountability, troubleshoot issues, provide customer support, maintain service reliability and security, and understand whether the service is functioning and being used correctly.
Monitoring and Activity Information
Task Pro may record basic activity timestamps and workflow-event metadata to help administrators and support understand service use, troubleshoot issues, maintain reliability, and protect the service. This may include last app activity time and events such as task created, follow-up sent, task submitted, task reassigned, task approved, and account deletion requested.
Monitoring event logs are not intended to include passwords, authentication tokens, task descriptions, submission notes, photo contents, photo URLs, or push-token values. Task descriptions, notes, photos, and related work records may still be stored as part of the normal task-management service described above.
Task Pro may also use Sentry as a third-party diagnostics and error-monitoring service provider to help diagnose crashes and technical problems, improve app stability, troubleshoot customer issues, and maintain security and reliability. Task Pro does not intentionally send user names, email addresses, task titles, task descriptions, task notes, photo URLs, or task content to Sentry. Session Replay and performance tracing are disabled.
Data Sharing
Task Pro does not sell personal data. Data is used to provide the Task Pro service and may be processed by Firebase and related service providers, including Google Cloud and Expo, that host, secure, operate, or deliver notifications for the application, and by Sentry for limited crash and error diagnostics.
Task and Organization Records
Task Pro is used for organization accountability. Task, photo, submission, correction, approval, and history records may be retained as legitimate organization operational records even after an individual account deletion request. Where appropriate, personal profile or account data is deleted or anonymized while preserving business records needed by the organization.
Account Deletion Requests
Signed-in users can request account deletion from inside the Task Pro app. A deletion request records the requesting user's account, role, organization, request time, and pending status so the request can be reviewed and processed safely. When an account deletion request is verified and processed, Task Pro deletes or anonymizes personal account information where appropriate. Organization task records, history, and photos may be retained for business continuity and accountability.
Security
Task Pro uses Firebase Authentication, Firestore Security Rules, Storage Rules, and server-side Cloud Functions to help protect account and organization data. Access is intended to be limited by authentication, organization membership, and user role.
